Samsung 3D HDTV, the slim and sexy UNXXC9000 (the XX will be replaced by the specific model’s diagonal screen size, which will be announced at a later date) will hit stores later this year. To achieve a thin footprint, Samsung lcd placed all of the TV’s circuit boards into its detachable stand. The company’s headliner also includes a 3-inch touch-screen remote with Wi-Fi integration, that can not only control the TV and other AV devices, but also doubles as a secondary display, either mirroring content or displaying television while a Blu-ray movie is playing on the primary set, for example. The Series 9 TV also offers a 240Hz refresh rate and a built-in Ethernet connection with Samsung Internet@TV support.
